Le Tong was a good option for budget 2 bedroom accommodation at a high season. Location was great across a (busy) road to lovely beach and beach eatery, 5 mins tuk tuk to Patong central. Pool was clean, few sunbeds and umbrellas, small food - we only really had breakfast which was great apart from bacon running out (we bought them more for us!) and instant coffee only (we bought a coffee plunger at Tesco!). The available parking was tight out the front but doable. The tours/driver guy was very nice and not exxy. The staff, pleasant but a bit tired and jaded by the whole tourist thing. Few noisy guests, some tattoed eurotrash types who moved on the rest family, good cable reception only a few channels. No DVD player. Construction noise next door was a bit annoying.
Biggest drawback was the bathroom drainage pitching tiles to evacuate water down drain doesn't seem to be a skill acquired anywhere in Asia...from shower which had no recess.Clean and well tiled however
