Location: Friendship Beach Bungalow Resort on Phuket Island in Thailand is, as the name suggests, on the beach! It is quiet, comfortable and with a wonderful International / Thai / Vegetarian restaurant and waterfront bar. Rooms and apartments are lovely, have been recently refurbished, and are reasonably priced. Most all have Bali style baths. The views from the resort are stunning with para-sailing, cruise ships, fishing and pleasure boats in the foreground, a spattering of romantic islands in the background (ideal for exploration snorkeling, etc.). Friendship Beach Resort is approximately 50 minutes drive from Phuket International Airport, 10 minutes from Nai Harn Beach, 5 minutes from Chalong Pier (for scuba diving), 20 minutes from Kata / Karon, and 30 minutes from Patong.

Friendship Beach Resort is a rarity in Phuket. It is right on the beach and with a fantastic views across the sea to the islands. Away from the noise of traffic, it is small, intimate, boutique. Over 50% of the guests are repeat customers. Most other are referrals. This has to be one of the most relaxing holiday spots on Phuket. People come for a night or two and stay a week or more.
