Location: Close to the private bus terminal, 10 minutes away from the railway station or the regional airport (90 minute flights to / from Bangkok). 90 Minutes drive from Chiang Mai. Lampang is an important northern Thai town (the region's second largest), with it's own solid gold buddha (at Wat Chedi Sao), the former home to the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew Don Tao) and a more authentic / less commercialised atmosphere than the region's capital.
