Location: Lamai is a 15 minute drive from Chaweng (be advised, Chaweng is busier, larger, yet more cramped than Lamai though). This part of Lamai is therefore especially suited to couples, and for family holidays / vacations. 20 minutes from Samui airport, which itself is just over an hours flight from either Phuket or Bangkok.

A wonderful wide, white sandy beach ideal for sun bathing, swimming, volleyball and snorkelling (75 yards away). Set in generous and especially lush mature coconut palm & banana tree gardens, with many other native flora. In Lamai centre itself, yet quiet and peaceful at night, and it's wide range of fine seafood restaurants and shops.
