Location: Similana Resort Hotel, Ta Kua Pa, Phang Nga, Thailand. About 20 minutes drive north of Khao Lak National Park. On and above the pristine white sandy, rock pool doted coastline of Phang Nga / Ta Kua Pa. Set into a tropical wooded hillside with views out over the Andaman Sea to Koh Similan Islands. The Similians can be reached from the nearby small harbour (60km / 3 hour boat trip). Around 70 minutes drive from Phuket Airport, Similana Resort is located down a quiet lane and is the only hotel in this immediate area. Phuket - Bangkok flights take around 1 hour.

Tree houses are of dtilt / wooden construction, and are located in the beach level / adjacent wooded grounds, down and just south of the main hotel buildings. Deluxe bungalows are larger rooms and are located just north of the main hotel buildings, on the cliff / hillside. Again set in wooded grounds with lush landscaped gardens
