Khao Lak information
Khao Lak in Thailand has hotels on the edge of the National Park and none of those listed with us normally require a deposit, plus we donate what we earn from them to a Thai children’s charity. Khao Lak is a relatively unspoiled area just north of Phuket where many families seeking beach holidays go. Since the tsunami warning system was installed, staying in a villa, bungalow, hotel room or resort suite in Khao Lak overlooking the Andaman Sea has now become a safe vacation choice. Takua Pa is just from and considered part of Khao Lak’s accommodations and lodgings portfolio, with tree houses and cliff top chalets providing tourists with yet more vacation options. Boat services providing sight seeing, snorkeling and scuba diving excursions to Surin Island operate from the beach of many of the hotels in Khao Lak.
