Here is how users rated the hotel out of 10 ( 1  is terrible and  10  is excellent)

An idealy located hotel for getting away from the bustle of the city. Located about 20 minutes outside Chiang Mai. Family run business and owners can arrange local transport for you. Food quality is excellent. Rooms are very large with 2 double beds + sitting area. Beds a little hard but reasonably comfortable. Cleaniness standard very high. Views from some rooms are a little restricted. The pool is on the small side but ideal for cooling off. The owners are very welcoming and very helpful in organising anything you want to do. Recommend having your evening meal there as it is reasonably priced and of very high standard. Breakfast is served at 7.30am and evening meal at 7.00pm. High standard of English spoken so easy to arrange things through them. We're going back!

Visiting Chiang Mai regularly on short stays with my family using city centre hotels, and deciding to try a more “out of town” spot I have discovered that I have missed so much over the past 5 years. Our visit quickly turned into a relaxing holiday; my children and wife were overwhelmed by the tranquility of the Golden Cupids and the care taken by the hotel owners, Peter, Peppe and the family in making our stay successful.
The rooms are better than any I have had in the area, the service exceptional and the variety and quality of the food prepared by Peppe impossible to find in a city hotel. Distractions are available in the form of organised activities; however we chose to simply enjoy the hospitality of the place.
Our recommendation goes to anyone wanting a break, a nucleus for exploring the north Thai area, honeymoons or simply enjoying relaxation.
One word of caution however, if you try it, you will no doubt return, as we intend to do on my now regular visits.
