Travel Ethos provides Thai villa and hotel reservations but with some big differences:

• We offer direct reservations with the hotels and villas in Thailand where we can; where you book with and pay them directly. This should ensure you can reserve one of their best rooms and only pay upon check out, not in advance; this also greatly reduces the risk of credit card fraud and being treated as a number.
• All of the direct booking fees we earn when you use us go to a local children's charity, The Mercy Centre in Bangkok; see charity page for full details. That's right; when you book direct through us you are helping needy children in Thailand.
• We show you other guests' hotel / villa comments and ratings, so you can benefit from their experience. We invite you by email to leave comments for and rate the hotels and / or villas in Thailand you booked through us after you check out, so you can do the same for other tourists.
• We ask / allow the Thai hotels & villas on our site to complete cultural, ethics and environmental questions and report what they say to you, to help conscientious travelers find the friendliest and most responsible accommodations providers in Thailand.
• So, whether you fancy a vacation in a resort like Pattaya, Phuket, Krabi Beach or Hua Hin, an island adventure on Koh Phi Phi, Lanta or Samui, or some northern cultural delight in Chiang Mai or Rai, we will do our best to help you and support the next generation of Thailand in the process.
• If you know and can recommend a Thai hotel or villa which is currently not on or does not have a direct reservations facility with us, please email them and ask them to join.
• If you see any of the hotels or villas in Thailand featured here with lower room rates on another web site, please enquire with them here and ask them to match that rate so that our nominated children's charity earns the booking fee, not a commercial reservations agent.
