Beautiful views of rice fields next to hotel, and convenient that it provides free transport and pickup service to Ubud city center, as it is located more to the South near ARMA museum.

Very professional, friendly, and attentive English speaking staff, from the reception, to restaurant staff, room service, cleaning people, everyone ! They know me after one day's stay, which is something I like in a smaller hotel. Restaurant serves delicious authentic Indonesian cuisine at very reasonable price, but there are also several good restaurants nearby.

The Super Deluxe room is well-worth the higher price, as it is very large, with a Queen and twin bed, and 2 steps down is a sitting area. Very nice design in layout. Bathroom facility is also more modern than the Superior room. I met other travelers who have been staying there for 6 years or more, which speaks highly of customer satisfaction. I'll definitely stay there again next time I go to Bali !

Really nice stay there. Convenient location, beatiful view from the cozzy rooms. Evething is wonderful and we will stay in this fantastic space next time.

it is better to have tv in each room because in the evening, it is no fun in the ubud and if staying in hotel without tv is a little boring besides the light in the room is a little dark u can offer more light choice to guest.

I really liked the hotel, the setting in the rice fields is beautiful and the staff is very friendly and helpful. It was a very pleasant stay.

very much enjoyed ubud and the tari segal hotel was a big reason for that. well located just off the main road and the hussle and bussle of ubud but still only a few minutes walk to all of that. very attentive staff. great food. easy internet access. free shuttle service by the hotel to locations within ubud made going out for dinner at night quite convenient as the hotel would even pick you up after dinner. deluxe rooms are spacious with great outdoor space. quite a serene location overlooking rice fields and the monkey forest. definitely worth a visit.

Tegal Sari is a great little hotel. It's professionally run and yet the staff members are really friendly and warm. While it is not set in a traditional Balinese compound per se, it IS tastefully done up with all the requisite Balinese touches - none of the plywood tackiness you might expect from a smaller cheaper establishment. The best thing about Tegal Sari though is its proximity to the padi fields. There is nothing like sitting on your porch and watching the sun set/rise over the padi.

I went there with my 2-year old girl and stayed there for 3 nights. The service was beyond a 5-star hotel. Personalised and efficient service every time. I can clearly see that my lil girl was just as satisfied with all that was provided to us and always more than happy to return back to the hotel after our long day trips. In short this hotel is superb and very service oriented. I will surely choose to stay in this hotel again in my future visits.

My daughter and I stayed at Tegal Sari on Nov 23-30 05. We were so delighted with this beautiful place. We both could not fault the place or the lovely people who served us. The locality was great as well. We would like to thank the staff of Tegal Sari for making our stay so memorable.

We found the Tegal Sari Hotel to be excellent value for money. The rooms were beautiful and clean, the views amazing and the staff were really friendly. We would definitely stay there again.

A beautiful hotel with the most helpful staff possible. Free transport within Ubud on demand, including to the many dance and music events, and back from restaurants at any time. Watching the rice harvest all around was most interesting - some rooms may suffer from smoke for a short while as the rice straw is burned in the fields. There are 3 new cottages now completed. Room 10 is idyllic.
