Location is rated relatively low, because distance to beach is 10 minutes walk. Neighborhood is kampung, resulting in noisesiness from barking dogs and smoke from garbage burning. Whole of Nusa Dua/Benoa suffers from air traffic noise which is caused by climbing aircraft over land instead of over sea. Overall quality/range of facilities: Our small children (2 and 4 years) were missing playground facilities.

Rooms were simply furnished but very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful, but not obtrusive. Very peaceful and relaxed. Great Balinese village ambience. Great pool.
Bumbu Bali cooking school was sensational (and gratis for a booking of five days or more).
The boss (Heinz) and his deputy openly encourage personal and professional development of the staff.
Heinz is doing a lot of research into traditional Balinese recipes and old cooking methods; he is determined that the "old ways" will not die out.

Both myself and my family were extremely happy with the Rumah Bali Villa and their staff. We were highly impressed with everything about the accomodation, from the traditional style rooms to the fantastically friendly staff. We loved the idea of a fresh juice on arrival!

We would not hesitate to book at Rumah Bali Villa again and will most certainly be recommending it to all friends and family going to Bali. Thank you for a wonderful time.

We have stayed at this accomodation before and found it to be tranquil, quiet and relaxing after our busy work lifestyle.
We recommend it on to our friends. It is great that we can book online and communicate directly with the manager and staff.
The cooking school is fantastic value for money and we were fortunate to have the owner / chef instructor teach us.
A highly recommended holiday.

Wonderful value for money. Staff were very very helpful.
They brought very good indonesian breakfast to the room (dining facility) everyday. Foods are famous "Bumbu Bali" quality. Not many customers, so I felt like we stayed at private retreat ! One problem may be, cocks around the RumahBali started to crow at 4:30 am...
