Our staff are all paid a generous salary that is well above average for the area. On top of that, they receive a share of the villa income and enjoy various other perks and benefits such as overtime pay, meal allowances and sick pay.
We mainly use refillable glass bottles for water and drinks. When we do use plastic bottles, we always make sure they are recycled.
We regularly clean the beach in front of the villa and all the rubbish from this, as well as our other rubbish, is collected by the local government waste collection agency for safe and responsible disposal.
We are properly registered and licensed (as a Hotel Melati) and pay government tax.
We regularly contribute to local initiatives, such as the independence day celebrations and Singaraja's "birthday". |
