Taman Sari Bali Cottages Hotel Rating/Comments

Here is how users rated the hotel out of 10 ( 1  is terrible and  10  is excellent)

The resort is very clean, the staff extremely friendly and the area quiet. We stayed there two years ago in a standard cottage and we can see that everything's well maintained. The Butterfly suite is huge. It has two patios and a large balcony on the roof. With extrabeds it would even fit two families with children.
Unfortunately our toilets were leaking eventhough the staff tried to fix them. Amenities such as shampoo and conditioner were missing. The paths from the suites to the restaurant are not well lit. Apart from that we enjoyed our stay very much. And we can highly recommend this hotel for families and people looking for tranquility and total relaxation.
We'll be back!

Great location. Staff nice and very efficient in general, but wasn't quite as happy and enthusiastic compared to some other hotel staffs we experienced in Bali. Not quite sure what to make of a note in the hotel information book in the room that only wanted you to make service arrangements (for transport, rentals and day trips) through the hotel though. Do the locals really get all the money, or does the hotel keep some for their own profits. Otherwise, beautiful room, beautiful grounds. Spa top notch and great value! Wonderful isolated beach that is clean and great location.

People were friendly and accomodating. Diving is OK--perhaps I've been spoiled by Thailand and the Philippines and the superp diving available at those places.
Bring US bills after series 1999--I could not exchange all my money.
Mosquitoes ravage children staying at the hotel--Get a mosquito net for them first.
Pondok Sari has no indoor shower, bathtub, or in-room mini-refrigerator advertised in the web sites--it still is an excellent value for the money.

This was a fantastic hotel to stay at. Set in beautiful garden surroundings, right on the beach. Very reasonably priced for what it offered. Good food, good service. Totally recommended.

Stayed in Gecko suite at Taman Sari (last year stayed in Frog suite) - both represented true luxury and good value for money at around US$100 per night. We would recommend the hotel for those wanting luxury at an affordable price and access to the excellent snorkelling/diving at Menjangan.
