Really enjoyed our stay. The staff who came in the mornings to cook breakfast then again in the evening to set up for the night were just sensational.
The villas are a five minute walk to through to the beach at Legian.
The houses are reasonably well equipped with stuff to do your own cooking and there's a supermarket about 10-15 mins walk away. (If you have kids like us, I'd take a few bits and pieces for them like peanut butter and vegemite and cereal). The villas are clean, neat and well kept. The TV reception was shite, but we did enjoy the break from box watching.... the villas do have a DVD player however.
The only negative for us was that there are no credit card facilities so we had to take a fair bit of cash to pay the total amount of the rent... not a problem for some... but I must admit I hadn't asked the question when I initially paid the deposit.

Bali is an amazing place to visit, & this was my 5th trip. Previously I have stayed in hotels, but in the future I will only be staying in a villa when I visit. Robins Place is great - the staff are friendly & cannot do enough to make your stay enjoyable. Having a housemaid who is responsible for you during your stay is a delight - my husband & I didn't have to lift a finger. My husband travels the world as part of his employment, & stays in 5 star accommodation wherever he is, but he commented that this was the most relaxing trip he has ever taken - due in a larger part to the staff at the villa. The grounds are beautiful & well kept, & very typically Balinese. The villas are also well located - right in the heart of Legian, which is bustling, but a little quieter than Kuta, & within walking distance to Kuta. I would recommend Robins Place & Bali to anyone wanting a relaxing, warm holiday.
