We do not collect any service charge from guests. Hence, tipping is always accepted with thanks although this is not obligatory. The management allocates certain percentage for every sales made in the hotel to the staff. We don't call this as service charge but productivity bonus. Percentage amount varies among different departments (from 5% to 15%). There is a 10% tax with every sales made in the hotel (charged to guests), e.g. food, drink, spa services. However we don't add any sales tax to the room rate. Room rate already includes tax. So there is no hidden charge with accommodation. |
