Puri Wirata Resort Hotel Rating/Comments

Amed is quite place and appropriate for divers or people who want to relax. I've stayed in Puri Wirata 6 days in June/July 2008, start of high season. It was very quite, relaxing. The restaurant quality is overall medium. the staff is friendly and smily. The beach is very small and with lot of rocks, 400m from there is a nice black sandy beach but no shade. The room are clean, nice view, fridge, A/C, safe, well furnished. There is no animations at night, poorly lit streets, paradise for people who want to sleep well.

We stayed at the Puri Wirata for 5 nights. Amed is quite a distance from Ubud, where we were staying for the previous week but they picked us up from our hotel and later delivered us to the airport - both free of charge. The staff were warm and friendly and the facilities were very good. The menu was the only disappointment. For an establishment of this quality it needed a bit more pizzaz and attention to presentation. Overall, we were pleased with our stay but without feeling like we would be rushing to go back there again.

Delightful friendly and accomodating staff, really lovely room and pool. And wifi enabled me to get on with the work I had to do - hence my high rating for facilities. Totally satisfied : )

We were received in a very friendly matter. The hotel is located on a beatiful, quiet part of Bali. I have been to Indonesia several times, but this was by far the most relaxing start of my stay there. My four year old daughter was delighted by the beds, princessbeds she called them, and the swimmingpool.
Although the hotel offers an airport pick up service, I would advise you to take your own transport, since there's hardly any public transport or cabs.
