Location: The Hidden Paradise and Coral View hotels in Amed, Bali are located next to each other on the beach (and have the same owners). In the sleepy seaside hamlet of Lipah, one of the villages that collectively forms (what "everyone" describes as) "Amed", on the far East North Eastern coast of Bali. Other Hotel Information
Amed is the "new" "hip" place for young couples and preferred destination for modern, fashionable, "avoid the tourist areas" family groups. The beach area here is fine black and glittering "gold" (as opposed to golden) sand with excellent snorkelling.
Travelethos own comments and observations
Hidden Paradise and Coral View Hotels are basically two hotels owned by the same people and adjacent to each other / linked together. One of the original hotels in Amed, they certainly have the best beach location and a great range of rooms for every traveller. My personal favorite, if you can stretch to them, are the beachfront "villas" they have with upstairs balconies; the view and breezes are worth splashing out a little more, trust me!
